I survived the dentist

I survived the dentist...with one less tooth
Last nite mommie could see i was whincing on the left side where they stole a tooth, so she asked me if i wanted to use her ice pack for the pain.

This is what i did saturday afternoon. mommie laid down with me for awhile and snuggled with me. I finally got my 20 tem-tay-shuns that she promised, tho not all at once. mommie broke them in half for me. i feel very good without that nasty old bad tooth. if you biggify this picture you can see where they shaved off my stripes on my paw.

Fashion Furr-eye-Day

I'm not really one for dressing up. mainly cause mom can never find things that fit me. see this piece is a little small for me not that i'm large girl, i'm 9 pounds and have a long ballerina body. I'm not petite like daisy.
Today i had to go in the PTU to get my blood test at the V-E-T for my dental appointment tomorrow(or today if today is friday). i have had a past dental and i have had 5 teef pulled. mommie thinks my teef didn't develop properly when i was a baby cause of my calici virus and i had teef that were wiggling in the gum so out they came. it made my mouth feel better. so i'm having another dental to make sure all is well in my mouthie. I cried all the way there and all the way home but behaved at the vet and they just called and said my blood works were great.
so we will update this when we get home after the dentist on friday, tho i will be woozy i'm sure.

6:00 am, i'm starving and mom won't give me my morning tem-tay-shuns. why not? i've been loving all over her in the computer chair, snuggling her and sticking my nose in her ear but she still won't give me my tem-tay-shuns. she said i could have 20 tem-tay-shuns when i get back from the dentist.
1:00PM honey's mom here: the vet just called and said honey is coming out of the sleepy medicine and they had to pull one tooth in the back. one of the roots were all the way dead and it came out easy. but all her other teeth look real good. they said i can pick her up at 5:30 and that they have some pain medicine for her. my poor little baby. i can't wait till she gets home.
7:00pm i'm home. i'm wandering around the house. i eated some wetted dry food just a few bites. my mouth hurts. they said i had some bone loss with the bad tooth. it was like a bean getting a wisdom tooth yanked.

Almost Werdless Wednesday

Somehow on Tuesday June 12, alot of kitties started wishing me Happy Birthday. sad to say, my birthday is July 12, BUT, i loved all the birthday greetings and the stars and rosettes from my catster friends. i felt a little guilty to have to say it isn't my birthday quite yet, BUT ,we can start the party now and party up till my birthday on July 12th. the other night while i was playing on my quilt while mommie was reading in bed, she saw the quilt fly up in the air about 2 and a half feet. I LOVE MY MILLIE QUILT!!!

here are 13 things about my mommie
1. she has a bachelors of science in computer science. she got the cs degree to have a career, she really would have liked to be an art history major but she didn't think she could find a good paying job outside of teaching.
2. she is an avid reader for pleasure. her favorite author is james michener. her favorite book is the agony and the ecstasy which is about Michelangelo
3. when she goes on vacation it has to be warm and tropical
4. she is totally devoted to me cause i'm her furbaby, she has no bean babies.
5. she's a capricorn
6. her favorite music is new orleans blues and rhythm and blues
7. she is a retired deadhead and has seen the grateful dead live in concert 150+ times from 1972 till when Jerry Garcia died.
8. she grew up in the south bay area, south of san francisco which explains #7. she lived in san jose, cupertino, los gatos (meow) and campbell
9. she likes unusual foods. rather than sandwiches or pasta, she'd rather eat falafels or bruchetta or chevre or hummas(puke).
10. she doesn't really like sweets she likes spicy
11. she likes to sleep in on the weekends and sometimes i let her
12. she does yoga sometime but not as much as she would like to. i do yoga with her.
