it was 38 degrees this morning....wat happened to spring?Meli Pukana la (dats honey sunshine in hawaiian)
A.K.A. The Binkster, Binx, Princess, Little latin Lupe Lu, Lola, Lailani, Woobie, KaboodleBinky is the cat that came afore me. The Binky and her brother showed up at our house in San Jose as we drove up returning from a trip to Hawaii. Our friend was taking care of our house and our other cat Cherise, and Binky and her brother kind of moved into the back yard because there was a bowl of Cherise's food out there for her patio dining experience. Binky was mommies best friend for 14 years. She was 14 lbs and then she became hyperthyroid and started to lose weight rapidly. mommie had her on medicine for quite awhile but then she started not eating and her body started to give out. She put up a gallant fight not to leave her mom.Today when mommie was driving home she heard this story on NPR. it talked about cats and thyroid disease and a correlation with high consumption of canned cat food. Binky loved her stinky goodness, i do not eat stinky goodness.

7:45pm EST. The nice policemens got speshul permissions and went in and got them out tonight!!! By 7:45pm they were in the car wif Mom Laura!!! She says they looks good and are movin and talkin lots but not injured. YAY!!! They’s on the way to the v-e-t just for checkin, even tho it looks like they’re fine, and to get their medicines. Mom Laura said she’d try to get online later, but she doesn’t know when that’ll be. We’s just so happy they’s ok we don’t know what to do.
we are having warm sunshiney weather here for a few daze. i sunbathed yesterday and will be doing so today also.we are still purring for Lilly lu and Mu shue and fambly and fur pretty Miral who went to the rainbow bridge.here is the latest noos from momma laura:Mom Laura is with her parents at their house.The damage to her apartment was not as bad as originally reported,mostly smoke and water (NO charred dust).She left the patio door open before leaving for work.A second search of the apartment today revealed no cat bodies!!!!They live on the 3rd floor, but the balconies overlap.There is a large woods directly behind her apartment.We are hoping.....UPDATE!!!!>>>>from catblogesphere:Laura JUST called! Mu Shue, Lilly Lu and Iris were found hiding in the apartment by the fire folks going around checking and they’re alive!!! They were hiding and they’re scared to come out for strangers. They’re still there, and she can’t go in yet because it’s unsafe, but Animal Control is going to go in as soon as possible!!! Laura is picking up new carriers right now. The fire people said they’d be ok overnight if it had to be that long, but they’re going to try to get the in tonight if at all possible.

Deb called and said she spoke with a policeman who has seen the cats. He left them food and water and locked them inside. He also told them their Mommy would get them in the morning. He said they cannot let her in tonight, but he will escort her in first thing in the morning. He has spoken to Laura as well… ML

Bogdan, the editor over at the Morning Scratch mews commissioned some of my art werk in exchange for 1000 greenies. i have picked out a few pieces below. 
I call the above sculpture, "Cat Scratch Fever". Fabric back of mommies new chair.( note the textures)
The above piece is entitled, "Leftovers", Iams on green place mat. a nice juxtaposition of the white table top coming thru the holes in the green place mat.
